The Commercial Contract Specialist is responsible for the successful management, coordination, preparation, editing, final formatting, and submission of responses to bidding opportunities and documents for Cook’s Commercial Division, with supervision, this individual is responsible for preparing revision to standard form commercial contracts to reflect negotiated changes, as requested by commercial bid applicants.
Specific Duties Include:
• Communicate with potential customers and Cook’s Commercial Division Manager to assess, evaluate and determine customer requirements
• Review contract compliance documents
• Coordinate proposal and contract activities
• Work with various regulatory agencies to ensure compliance
• Maintain database of commercial account documents and agreements as reference tools to complete future proposals
• Manage client time-frame expectations
• Interact positively with other departments and external contacts as needed
• Maintain computer and system skills necessary to perform job functions, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Other duties as deemed necessary by management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, multi-task and manage time
• Produce accurate and high-quality work
• Comply with applicable state and local laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
