Job Summary:
Ice Haus Coach- Figure Skating is an integral part of the recreation division with the City of Greeley and is responsible for providing quality customer service to patrons as well as the oversight of Ice Haus programs with the responsibility for safety, instructing and supervising and testing ice skating lesson participants.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must have passed Preliminary figure skating levels both in Moves In the Field and Free-skate.
- Must have coaching insurance through Learn to Skate USA, USFSA, or PSA.
- Current certification in CPR, First Aid and AED or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire required.
OR
- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job,
AND
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Preferred
- Certification through a recognized governing body (e.g., USA Hockey, US Figure Skating) preferred.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- Frequent and heavy contact with the public and City employees in person and by telephone.
- Frequent interruptions.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekdays, nights, weekends, evenings and holidays.
- Work performed in cold indoor settings.
- Majority of work performed on ice surface.
- Regular exposure to loud noises
Work involves skating, walking, standing, stretching, bending, as well as lifting/carrying up to 49 pounds.
