JOB TITLE: Golf Shop Attendant
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for booking tee times, charges to accounts, daily receipts, selling and pricing of merchandise in golf shop.
REPORTS TO: Head Golf Professional
PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: Ensure guests are taken care of in a timely fashion, balancing of daily receipts, customer service, selling, keeping the merchandise and golf shop overall neat, clean and orderly at all times.
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Assisting pro and assistants in all aspects of the golf operations; shop inventory in absence of Head Golf Professional or Assistant Golf Professional.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing for long periods; may require some lifting, bending and stretching.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work takes place mainly in the Pro Shop, but is not limited to. Schedule includes weekends and holidays.
HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Could be struck by golf club or ball. Injury associated with lifting, bending and stretching may occur.

Requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED: Good customer/guest relations’ skills, ability to sell merchandise.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma.
PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Prior sales experience helpful, but not required.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of Golf Shop products and merchandise required for selling.
PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS: Friendly, personable, confident and trustworthy.
