Job Description

The CIMA+ offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. CIMA+’s Infrastructure team combines top-notch skills with an intimate understanding of the local community to deliver customized infrastructure services for municipalities and real-estate developers. We have delivered hundreds of projects across Canada, including innovative solutions for the full spectrum of water and wastewater assets, on time and on budget.  We support clients from start to finish, whether for building brand new or assessing, repairing, and expanding on existing infrastructure. Grow your career by becoming part of a dynamic team as a Civil EIT within our Infrastructure sector.  You will work on diverse projects related in the municipal, water and wastewater markets in the Saskatchewan region and across Canada within an excellent mentorship network.

Primary responsibilities

• Complete conceptual, preliminary and detailed design tasks for water/wastewater, municipal and land development projects
• Complete technical calculations and hydraulic modelling on various platforms
• Prepare technical specifications, reports, memoranda and permit approval applications
• Conduct site inspections and surveys
• Perform contract administration tasks
• Liaise directly with clients, government, and regulatory authorities to address specific project needs
• Assist with project management duties with the opportunity to grow into a project manager and/or technical role in a mentoring environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution
• Active EIT or eligible for such a membership with APEGS
• Demonstrated relevant experience will be considered an asset.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
