Revolgy is a leading multinational provider of digital transformation services, helping over 2,000 clients worldwide get the most from Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. The AWS Cloud Engineer role focuses on ensuring workloads run reliably and cost-effectively while supporting client migrations through various stages, including cutover and stabilization.
Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure provisioning — deploying and maintaining AWS resources (VPCs, subnets, security groups, EC2, RDS, S3) within the existing landing zone patterns
- Network and security configuration — applying platform-standard network and security settings — consistent, repeatable, no bespoke one-offs
- Monitoring and observability — configuring application-level monitoring, logging, and alerting on top of the built-in stack (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, tracing and metrics tools)
- Migration support — hands-on involvement during cutover windows and post-migration stabilization
- Cost and performance optimization — contributing to right-sizing activities and identifying opportunities to reduce waste
Requirements:
- 3+ years of AWS cloud engineering experience — you know the core services well and can work independently within an established platform
- Infrastructure as Code proficiency — Terraform
- Solid networking fundamentals — VPC design, subnets, security groups, routing, VPN/Direct Connect
- Core AWS service knowledge — EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux workloads — specifically in the context of VMware-to-AWS migration
