OnlyHire.Me is seeking a highly skilled Senior AI Engineer with expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Python to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI-powered applications. The role involves building scalable AI systems, integrating LLMs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create AI-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python
- Build and integrate LLM-based solutions (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source models, etc.) into scalable backend systems
- Develop AI agents, RAG pipelines, and intelligent automation workflows
- Architect scalable APIs and microservices to support AI-driven products
- Work with vector databases, embeddings, and knowledge retrieval systems
- Optimize AI systems for performance, latency, and cost efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into AI-driven solutions
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability using best engineering practices
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, LLMs, and AI frameworks
Requirements:
- 8–11 years of software engineering experience
- Strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js
- Strong programming experience in Python
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI
- Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel
- Experience working with vector databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS
- Experience building REST APIs / GraphQL APIs
- Experience with cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture
- Strong problem-solving and system design skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced startup or product environments
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to mentor junior engineers
- Experience building AI agents and autonomous workflows
- Experience with model fine-tuning or training
- Experience with vector search and knowledge graph systems
- Experience working with streaming pipelines and real-time data systems
- Exposure to MLOps practices
- Healthcare Domain experience is preferred
