Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

mPulse is focused on providing secure and compliant cloud infrastructure solutions. The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure while ensuring compliance with regulations such as HIPAA and HITRUST.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Implement, and Maintain Scalable Secure Cloud Infrastructure Solutions
• Operate and support AWS shared services components
• Provision and Manage Cloud Solutions, Including Compute, Storage, and Networking
• Automate AWS Cloud Solutions: AWS Services, Python, Terraform, and Ansible
• Provision and Maintain AWS AMIs, leveraging Packer, and Ansible for Image Standards
• Monitor Cloud Infrastructure Performance, troubleshoot issues when they arise
• Investigate and provide feedback on new AWS services and solutions
• Possess a strong understanding of patching on Linux and Windows-based systems to ensure system security and stability
• Collaborate effectively with Infrastructure teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with existing systems and applications
• Build and maintain CICD pipelines to automate the development, testing, and deployment of cloud infrastructure components
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, demonstrating excellent communication, and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field -or- equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 Years of hands-on Experience within the AWS Cloud Environment
• Expertise in incident identification, problem-solving, and root cause analysis
• Familiarity with AWS Services (VPC, s3, EC2, RDS, AWS Organizations, AWS SSO, IAM, Service Catalog, Lambda, Load Balancers, SQS, etc.)
• A strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance (HI TRUST / SOC II) with industry standards
• Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services and capabilities to effectively design and manage cloud-based solutions
• Experience in documenting technical requirements and procedures to ensure clear communication, and knowledge transfer
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across groups and with varied levels of employees and leaders
• Outstanding customer satisfaction and organizational skills
• Capable of establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with cross-functional peers
• AWS Cloud Practitioner, AWS Data Engineer, or Higher AWS Certifications strongly preferred
