KellyMitchell Group is seeking a Threat Assessment Engineer to join their team. The role involves performing threat modeling for infrastructure and applications, utilizing threat intelligence to inform detection strategies, and applying threat modeling frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- Perform threat modeling for infrastructure and applications, including security architecture and data flows
- Utilize threat intelligence and incident data to inform research and detection strategies
- Recommend detection and data science approaches to counter common threat actor tactics
- Understand cloud security controls and architecture across AWS, GCP, and Azure
- Apply threat modeling frameworks
Requirements:
- Proven experience in threat modeling and security architecture
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to correlate diverse data
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security fundamentals
- Familiarity with common threat modeling frameworks and application security
- Proficiency in analyzing security logs
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic understanding of threat actor tactics and SaaS/PaaS abuse scenarios
