Heavy Industrial Gear Product Enginee

SEW-Eurodrive, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Industrial Gear Product Engineer to drive sales growth through technical expertise and account management. The role involves developing new accounts, managing relationships with OEMs and distributors, and enhancing the technical competence of sales teams to meet sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Meet U.S. sales requirements as established by management and actively grow the market for Industrial Gear (IG) products through both direct and distribution channels
• Act as a business development manager, identifying and developing new business opportunities to expand SEW-EURODRIVE’s footprint across existing and new markets
• Generate quotations based on established sales policies and provide promotional, technical, and sales support to District Sales Managers, direct OEMs, and user accounts
• Develop industrial gear systems based on customer requirements, performing project-related evaluations and calculations using SEW-EURODRIVE engineering tools
• Ensure proper technical integration and product performance to meet or exceed customer expectations

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent experience required
• Must be knowledgeable in and use of SEW-EURODRIVE engineering programs
• Must exhibit good logical technical knowledge skills
• Must have strong oral and written communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate with all SEW-EURODRIVE employees, customers, and suppliers in a businesslike and professional manner
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment with continual interruptions
