Engineer

Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT. The role involves leading architectural decisions for scalable Dataiku workflows and ensuring compliance with enterprise governance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Leading architectural decision‑making to define scalable and maintainable Dataiku data workflows
• Optimizing pipeline design by reviewing, challenging, and improving team implementation approaches
• Providing strategic guidance on data wrangling, workflow orchestration, and platform integration within Dataiku
• Ensuring all solutions adhere to enterprise data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Advising Data Management teams on best‑practice solution design and technical implementation
• Documenting architectural decisions and promoting knowledge sharing to strengthen cross‑team alignment

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• 6–8 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, or relevant enterprise data roles
• Candidate must have strong proficiency in Dataiku DSS with demonstrated experience designing production‑grade data pipelines and workflows
• Candidate must have hands‑on expertise with the Azure data ecosystem, including Data Factory, Synapse, Azure SQL, and Data Lake
