Sabel Systems is a growing defense technology company focused on digital engineering and secure platform delivery. The Manager of Product will lead product strategy and delivery for a platform product ecosystem, guiding Product Owners and aligning development across multiple Agile Release Trains to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Own/refine the Sabel Product Vision, translating enterprise themes into solution intents and value streams
- Maintain the Solution Roadmap, sequencing capabilities across platform, and BU developed solutions and products
- Drive solution definition using SAFe constructs such as Epics, Capabilities, and Solution Intent
- Work with Product Owners to define and prioritize Features, Enablers, and identify cross team dependencies
- Ensure solutions/products are governed, composable services including data orchestration, RBAC, security, and integration frameworks
- Manage and develop Product Owners
- Foster SAFe-driven product craft and readiness (discovery, acceptance criteria, WSJF)
- Collaborate across Product Leadership and Operations in defining Enterprise Product Processes
- Ensure alignment with cross-team dependencies, Solution Intent, and NFRs
- Coordinate readiness for PI Planning and orchestrate cross-ART dependencies
- Integrate AI, IoT, cloud, and cyber themes from enterprise architecture
- Support/Manage partner alignment across the product ecosystem
Requirements:
- 8–12+ years of product management experience leading complex platform or enterprise software products
- Experience operating as a SAFe Product Manager, Solution Manager, or equivalent platform product leader
- Proven ability to lead Product Owners and coordinate delivery across multiple Agile teams or ARTs
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and value delivery for data-centric platforms
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
- SAFe PM/PO or LPM certification
- Experience with AI, IoT, MBSE/PLM integration, or analytics platforms
- Experience with cybersecurity, RBAC, and compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with Department of War acquisition or digital engineering environments
