The Software Engineer plays a critical role in the development and optimization of the Epicor ERP Application, translating complex requirements into functional code and providing support for ERP systems.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize ERP and SDK toolsets alongside programming skills to develop customized solutions within and outside the Epicor application
- Design, develop, and test customizations, business process management (BPM) tools, Crystal Reports, SSRS Reports, and database queries with precision and attention to detail
- Document all modifications and enhancements to client software in accordance with company policies and standards
- Manage assigned tickets and task queues effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones, ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Provide classroom training and technical support to end users on Microsoft SSRS, Crystal Reports, and other Epicor technical tools
- Troubleshoot issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and implement effective resolutions to ensure system stability and performance
- Maintain accurate daily timesheets and expense reports, submitting them promptly for administrative purposes
- Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are exceeded
Requirements:
- related Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- at least four years of experience in Microsoft .NET programming
- Proficiency in C# and VB.NET at an intermediate to advanced level
- solid understanding of Microsoft SQL Server or Progress Databases at an intermediate level
- basic knowledge of Crystal Reports and Microsoft SSRS Reporting

- Prior experience with Epicor applications
- familiarity with Progress ABL code
- familiarity with Microsoft LINQ
