SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Lead Systems Integrator to serve as the senior technical authority responsible for coordinating and integrating complex IT systems across a multi-site enterprise environment. This role leads the integration of network, infrastructure, cloud, and security technologies to ensure all system components operate together seamlessly and meet operational, performance, and cybersecurity requirements.
The Lead Systems Integrator will work closely with program leadership, cybersecurity teams, architects, and engineering staff to ensure successful delivery of modernized IT capabilities. This position plays a critical role in managing system interoperability, resolving integration challenges, and ensuring that multi-vendor technologies function cohesively within a unified enterprise architecture.
The ideal candidate is a highly technical leader with extensive experience integrating large-scale network and IT systems across diverse environments.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary technical authority for system integration, ensuring all infrastructure, network, security, and platform components work together effectively.
· Lead and coordinate integration activities across multiple technologies, vendors, and operational sites.
· Ensure integrated solutions meet performance, cybersecurity, and operational mission requirements.
· Collaborate closely with program leadership, cybersecurity management, and solution architects to align integration efforts with overall technical strategy.
· Identify, track, and resolve system integration issues, interoperability challenges, and technical discrepancies.
· Support the integration of modern networking technologies, cloud services, security platforms, and enterprise systems.
· Manage integration across multi-vendor environments, ensuring compatibility and operational consistency.
· Conduct technical evaluations and integration analysis using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
· Develop and maintain integration documentation, architecture diagrams, and technical procedures.
· Provide technical guidance to engineering teams to ensure consistent implementation of integration standards and best practices.
· Support enterprise modernization initiatives by integrating emerging technologies and next-generation networking solutions.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of 10 years of experience (within the last 15 years) in Systems Integration, Network Integration, or a Lead Integration role supporting complex IT or networked systems.
· Active Secret security clearance required.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience (within the last 7 years) leading systems integration efforts for large-scale IT solutions with similar scope and complexity to enterprise modernization initiatives.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting or leading network modernization in multi-vendor environments.
· Possess a current technical certification directly supporting the technologies being implemented (e.g., advanced networking, wireless/5G, cloud, or enterprise infrastructure).
· Possess advanced or expert-level vendor credentials for the relevant technologies when available.
· Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification or a comparable advanced cloud security certification.
· Experience coordinating integration efforts involving commercial internet service providers.
· Five years of experience supporting Department of Defense network integration, modernization, or enterprise IT transformation initiatives.
· Experience performing technical analysis and integration assessments using industry-standard diagnostic and engineering tools.
