Location: Columbia, MD

Schedule: 25 Hours per week | June-August 2026

Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Position Summary:

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking a Digital Content & Product Data Intern to support the Marketing Communications team in improving digital product presentation and structured product data. In this role, you will assist with capturing and editing product imagery, organizing digital content libraries, and reviewing product documentation to extract key specifications. You will also help structure and standardize product data to ensure accuracy and consistency across web and marketing platforms.

 

JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Assist with capturing and editing product photography for web and marketing use
• Support image optimization, formatting, and organization within digital asset libraries
• Follow established brand, style, and formatting guidelines
• Review product documentation to extract specifications and key product attributes
• Organize product data into structured formats for web upload and system integration
• Identify and flag missing, inconsistent, or unclear product information
• Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to ensure product data accuracy and alignment

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media or a related discipline
• Familiarity with Excel, spreadsheets, or data organization tools
• Basic knowledge of image editing or digital content platforms preferred
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
