Job Overview
The Driver Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading and executing the driver recruiting strategy for the Linde Gases US business. This role provides both people leadership and hands-on recruiting support, ensuring high-volume driver hiring is executed efficiently, compliantly, and consistently across regions.
This position will manage two Driver Talent Acquisition Specialists, serve as the subject matter expert for the Tenstreet platform, actively support driver recruiting efforts, and provide guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and OFCCP requirements. The Driver TA Manager plays a critical role in monitoring process integrity, data accuracy, and regulatory adherence while scaling recruiting efforts to meet business demand.
The role may be located in The Woodlands, TX with a hybrid schedule. Candidates who are not local may work remotely, however regular travel to the area will be required (once per quarter or as needed).
Primary Responsibilities
People Leadership and Team Management
- Lead the overall driver recruiting function for Linde Gases US, ensuring consistent execution of process, standards, and service levels across the team.
- Directly manage and coach two Driver Talent Acquisition Specialists, including work prioritization, performance support, and professional development.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging observations, ideas, and measurable enhancements to recruiting workflows.
Driver Recruiting Strategy and Execution
- Manage the driver recruiting process end to end for Linde Gases US, including strategy, pipeline health, assessment, selection, and stakeholder partnership.
- Maintain direct recruiting responsibilities and relationship building, including hands-on sourcing and recruiting support as needed to meet hiring demand.
- Develop and maintain pipelines and candidate pools for hard-to-fill areas and fluctuating demand.
- Adapt and update staffing plans and recruitment strategies based on business needs, labor market trends, and volume changes.
Tenstreet Subject Matter Expertise
- Serve as the Tenstreet SME for the driver hiring process, ensuring correct usage, accurate tracking, and consistent workflow adoption across the driver TA team.
- Support troubleshooting, process improvements, and best practices related to Tenstreet usage, reporting, and recruiting efficiency.
Compliance Oversight (DOT and OFCCP)
- Advise and support the team to ensure driver hiring activities align with applicable DOT requirements, including documentation expectations and process controls.
- Advise and support the team to ensure recruiting activity aligns with OFCCP expectations, including consistent dispositioning, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, compliance, leadership and labor relations) to identify, escalate, and address compliance risks and process gaps as needed.
Reporting, Metrics, and Stakeholder Partnership
- Manage and update reports and metrics for all driver data nationally, including but not limited to number of openings by region, time to fill/contact, advertising spend, and reporting requests from hiring managers and TA leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on staffing plans, candidate quality, and hiring priorities.
- Proactively anticipate increases in spend and communicate trends, needs, and risks with regional leadership and TA leadership.
- Ensure successful utilization of approved third-party agencies, vendors, and tools, including evaluation of new options that could improve cost or process efficiency.
- Provide regular driver TA strategy updates to TA leadership.
Cross-Functional Support
- Partner with the non-driver recruiting team to support sourcing efforts during periods where driver requisitions are low volume, as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of high-volume driver recruiting experience.
- Experience in the industrial gas/chemical industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop recruiting strategies in challenging environments and execute successfully against those strategies.
- Proven ability to manage, coach, and develop others, including driving accountability and performance through priorities, feedback, and support.
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations regarding employment practices.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, specifically Tenstreet, with the ability to serve as the platform SME.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.
- Proven track record of successful consultative partnership with stakeholders.
- Experience with ad campaign products and demonstrated knowledge of how to apply them based on business needs.
- Moderate to advanced Excel skills, including data filtering, tables, sorting, and formulas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience conducting technical and behavioral-based candidate interviews.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and operational discipline.
- Ability to travel to The Woodlands, TX approximately once per quarter for in-person team meetings and stakeholder engagement if not local to the area.

Salary Range: $88,875 - $125,000 Annually.
