Responsibilities of a Dental Assistant Instructor
- Deliver engaging and interactive lectures and hands-on training sessions
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
- Evaluate and assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, and practical exams
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in dental technology and practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to students, helping them develop professional skills
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience
- NJ Radiology License/RDA/CDA
- Minimum 5 years of Dental Assisting experience
- Valid state Dental Assisting License
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant
- Certification in Dental Assisting (CDA) preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed
- No prior teaching experience required; comprehensive training will be provided
