Description

 A newly opened restaurant in North Tonawanda is seeking reliable and hardworking Barbacks to join our team. The Barback position is responsible for supporting our bartenders and helping ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the bar area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a team that delivers a great guest experience. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to guests in a timely manner.

• Restock bar supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and napkins.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning spills.

• Collect empty glasses and bottles from tables and bar tops.

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after service.

• Assist with the preparation of garnishes and ingredients for cocktails.

• Retrieve and replenish kegs, beer, and other beverages as needed.

• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and notifying management of any shortages.

• Collaborate with bartenders and other staff members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.

• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy kegs and boxes.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Continuously bend, reach, twist and use your hands and arms.
• Able to lift 80 pounds at a time.
