Redwood Credit Union is seeking a Wealth Management Operations Intern in their
Junior or Senior year in
college. This position supports the Wealth Management team through project-based work. Key projects include building an internal resource page to centralize sales-practice tools and materials and streamlining our electronic wealth data by implementing a clear, intuitive folder structure. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the skills, systems, and knowledge used by successful financial advisors.
Internship Details
- This position is for a full-time, seasonal internship – 40 hours per week.
- This internship will begin on, June 8, 2026, and end on August 14, 2026 (end date can be modified based on fall college schedule).
- Ability to provide a recent transcript will be required during the interview process.
- This position is not eligible for benefits other than what’s required by law.

Requirements
- Interest in finance or becoming a Financial Advisor.
- Strong organizational and computer skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Access preferred.
- Strong quantitative and analytic skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Must be a Junior or Senior in college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
Compensation
$23.00/hourly

Responsibilities
- Foster positive relationships with other Redwood Credit Union team members.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy and accountability in providing support to the Wealth Management Department.
- Ensure all required account documents are acquired, updated, and scanned to Members’ Investment account.
- Appropriately plan and organize daily work and projects, anticipating workload and foreseeing obstacles.
- Maintain confidentiality of correspondence, documents, discussions, meetings, and telephone calls.
- Follow up on outstanding requests to ensure timely processing of investment requests.
- Perform duties specific to reporting/marketing/operations as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, sit, walk, twist, and turn.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
- Ability to use a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Work environment is indoors; majority of the time is spent sitting at a desk.
