About the Role:
As a Guest Services Associate, you are the welcoming face of ATCO, creating exceptional first impressions for every guest who walks through our doors. From greeting visitors in person to ensuring they are seamlessly connected with their hosts, you play a key role in delivering a professional, warm, and secure guest experience. You’ll manage guest registration from a security perspective, respond thoughtfully to requests, and resolve questions or concerns with confidence and care. As a trusted source of information about ATCO, you help guests feel informed, comfortable, and valued throughout their visit. Your work supports a diverse range of visitors—from Board members and business partners to government representatives, employees from across the organization, and VIPs from around the world—making each interaction a positive and memorable one.
What You Get to Do:
Deliver a welcoming, professional, and high‑quality experience for every guest from arrival to departure
Greet visitors promptly, ensure they are properly registered, and issue guest passes as required
Coordinate with internal hosts to ensure smooth access to meetings and timely guest transitions
Act as a visible point of support by identifying individuals without identification and offering assistance in a respectful, security‑focused manner
Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with confidence, discretion, and a solution‑oriented mindset
Assist guests with transportation arrangements, directions, and local recommendations as needed
Manage incoming phone calls professionally, directing inquiries or taking accurate messages
Maintain strong knowledge of ATCO locations, services, and amenities to effectively support guests
Uphold safety standards and ensure the Guest Services area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Provide administrative and coverage support as needed, including assistance with executive and VIP requirements such as couriers, special deliveries, purchasing, invoicing, timekeeping, and expense reconciliation
What You Bring:
Post-secondary education in hospitality management or related field
3+ years’ professional experience in a hotel concierge or guest services
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships through clear, effective communication
Demonstrated professional business insight and sound judgment
Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while engaging with diverse audiences and resolving issues calmly and professionally
Strong organizational, time‑management, and multi‑tasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and remain current with ATCO knowledge and practices
Technologically savvy and able to understand new platforms that support the goals of customer-centric guest services
Experience with MS Suite, invoicing, and/or expenses
Security experience would be an asset
