We are seeking a hands-on Storage Supervisor to lead daily operations at our raw storage facility. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys being on the floor, working closely with teams, and taking ownership of storage performance, raw product quality, and food safety. The Storage Supervisor plays a critical role in supporting planting and harvest activities and ensuring a consistent, high-quality supply of raw product to the plant throughout the year.
Wage range: $24-28 plus OT and Sunday premium, bonuses and clothing allowance
Work location: Pooles Corner, PE
It is a full time permanent role.
- Lead the safety program for the site
- Assist in the day-to-day operation of the storage facility; monitoring ventilation systems and inspecting product
- Operate equipment as well as plan and schedule maintenance and repairs
- Train, schedule and supervise seasonal employees
- Coordinate deliveries from growers during harvest
- Champion food safety programs, including GAP requirements, and review grower food safety practices for compliance
- Work closely with Production and Raw Receiving teams to assess and monitor the quality of raw product leaving storage
- Troubleshoot operational issues and drive performance on quality, safety, and shrinkage
- Drive performance against key indicators related to quality, shrinkage, safety, and budget alignment
- Experience in agriculture, storage, or warehouse operations with an understanding of the importance of safety in the workplace
- Proven ability to work in seasonally intensive environments, including planting and harvest
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable working in active storage/warehouse settings with varying temperatures
- Able to meet deadlines, shift priorities and solve problems
- Mechanically inclined and interested in operating equipment including forklift, dump trucks/tandems, piler, hog, tractor
- Detail oriented, and able to record and communicate data required for decision-making
