Our team’s mission is to help the organization deliver valuable, repeatable, scalable, standardized, and reliable cloud platforms and services. As a Technical Product Owner, you will shape and evolve our cloud product platforms and internal technical platforms, with a strong focus on automation, standardization, and industrialization.
Reporting to the Director, IT Delivery, you will own the product vision, product roadmaps, and product backlogs for multiple cloud platforms and internal DevOps and automation platforms. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Architecture, DevOps, SRE, Operations, Program Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives, technical standards, and operational excellence. You play a key role in driving alignment, feasibility, and value throughout the full product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
Product & Platform Ownership
- Own and manage product roadmaps, backlogs, and priorities for cloud and platform products.
- Define and refine epics, features, and technical user stories in collaboration with technical and product teams.
- Act as the Product Owner in Agile delivery teams, participating in backlog refinement, planning, and reviews.
- Ensure products are designed for repeatability, scalability, and operational efficiency.
DevOps, Automation & Internal Platforms
- Own and prioritize the backlog for internal DevOps, automation, orchestration, and platform services.
- Work with DevOps and SRE teams to evolve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and self‑service capabilities.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC), reusable platform components, and standardized delivery patterns.
- Support platform reliability, scalability, observability, and operational readiness.
Cross‑Team Collaboration & Technical Alignment
- Collaborate with Engineering teams to ensure requirements are technically feasible and well understood.
- Partner with Architecture teams to validate alignment with reference architectures and technical standards.
- Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and platforms.
- Participate in proofs of concept (PoCs) and technical evaluations.
Here's what you need to have and master to get the job
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, or in a similar product role.
- Relevant certifications (cloud, DevOps, Product, FinOps) are considered an asset.
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Hands‑on experience with DevOps practices, automation, and platform teams.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Experience working with public cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).
- Experience with on‑premises and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Knowledge of Broadcom VMware VCF is an asset.
- Understanding of Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling.
- Good knowledge of IT security and operational best practices.
- Excellent English skills, both spoken and written are essential; fluency in French is an important asset.
