The Android Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin.
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (Codex or similar tools) is mandatory for this role.
They will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that meet business needs. This role offers the opportunity to work as a mid-level or senior developer, depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
Participate in the entire mobile app development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of Android applications.
Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and standards.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree BE, B Tech, MSC IT, MCA (Computer Engineering)
2-5 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role, with a focus on Kotlin.
Must have AI coding assistants integrated within your IDE (such as VS Code, Android Studio, Xcode, etc.) for development tasks
Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming and Android development frameworks.
Experience with Android development tools, such as Android Studio.
Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
Understanding of mobile app security, performance optimization, and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration.
