We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Technician to join our team!
The Supply Technician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment in compliance with organizational policies and applicable government regulations. This role ensures that inventory and logistical operations run smoothly, supporting organizational efficiency and operational readiness. The Supply Technician may work closely with logistics managers, warehouse staff, and transportation personnel to optimize supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities:· Plan, coordinate, and monitor the transportation, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies.· Ensure all supply chain activities comply with organizational policies, safety procedures, and relevant government regulations.· Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supply movements.· Assist in the development and implementation of logistics plans to support operational needs.· Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to facilitate timely delivery of materials.· Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment or redistribution as necessary.· Prepare reports on supply status, transportation schedules, and logistical performance.· Identify and resolve supply chain or distribution issues to prevent delays or shortages.· Support warehouse and transportation staff in executing daily supply operations.· Participate in audits, inspections, or reviews related to inventory and logistical compliance.
Qualifications:· High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.· 2–4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.· Knowledge of transportation, storage, and distribution processes.· Familiarity with applicable government regulations and organizational policies related to supply management.· Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.· Effective communication and coordination skills.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory or logistics management systems.
