Cognizant is seeking an EDI Production Support Engineer responsible for supporting and maintaining critical production processes related to batch operations and file transmissions. The role involves managing incident tickets, providing support for file transmissions, and ensuring compliance with SLAs while collaborating with various teams to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and resolve incident tickets related to production batch issues and file transmission challenges
- Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for all incoming and outgoing file transmissions
- Monitor and oversee EDI production batch schedules to ensure compliance with established SLAs
- Coordinate with Business Units and downstream teams to drive resolution of open action items
- Support change validation and deployment activities for application support
- Participate in on‑call rotations, including nights and weekends, as required
Requirements:
- Hands‑on experience with EDIFECS
- Proficiency with EAM (Edifecs Application Manager)
- Experience with TM (Transaction Management)
- Strong skills in Oracle PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of MongoDB
- Experience supporting production environments with strict SLAs
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across business and technical teams
- Prior experience in EDI‑focused operational support environments
- A proactive approach to issue resolutions and continuous improvement
