As a Senior Embedded Real-Time Software Developer/Integrator, you will design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software solutions for next-generation autonomous avionics systems, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to meet stringent performance and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, implement, test, and debug integrated embedded real-time software within heterogeneous systems comprising firmware and hardware components
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to define, refine, and enhance product concepts, ensuring testability, quality, and performance standards are met
- Mentor and coach less experienced team members to foster technical growth and knowledge sharing
- Participate actively in proposals, preliminary design reviews, and critical design reviews to ensure technical robustness and alignment with project goals
- Maintain the ability to obtain program access, including security clearance, to work effectively within classified environments
Requirements:
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in embedded software development
- Experience with embedded C++ programming
- Experience with embedded software security
- Experience with software architecture design and implementation
- Proficiency with embedded Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as Green Hills, Integrity, Wind River VxWorks, or Linux
- Demonstrated experience developing complex integrated hardware, firmware, and software systems
- Ability to obtain interim and full security clearance
- U.S. citizenship requirement
- Familiarity with electrical schematics
- Familiarity with firmware languages like VHDL or Verilog
- Familiarity with assembly language
- Experience with lab instruments
- Experience with device driver development
