Junior Data Enginee

Tax Consultants is a company seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to help build, maintain, and optimize their data pipelines and infrastructure. The role involves collaborating with analysts and engineers to ensure reliable data delivery and supporting analytics and business teams in a remote-first environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure reliable data delivery
• Assist in designing and implementing data models, warehouses, and storage solutions
• Monitor data quality, identify issues, and troubleshoot data-related problems
• Support integration of new data sources and tools
• Document data pipelines, standards, and best practices

Requirements:

• Junior Level (0–3+ years experience)
• Experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or related roles (internships included)
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) or data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently in a remote-first environment
• Fluent in English
• Based in the United States with legal authorization to work full-time
