Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Printed Circuit Board Design Engineer for a 6-month contract position. The role involves collaborating with engineers to develop PCB layouts, ensuring compliance with design standards, and coordinating with manufacturing for design validation.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers to review schematics, define board constraints, and translate requirements into board layouts
Perform component placement, routing, and layout of complex PCBs (8–12 layers typical)
Conduct design reviews at placement and routing stages
Ensure compliance with DFM/DFT standards and IPC Class 3 requirements
Use ECAD tools to manage design documentation and versioning
Coordinate with manufacturing for design validation and release

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in PCB/PWB layout, ideally in aerospace or defense environments
Proficiency in Cadence Allegro (v17.x or newer)
Experience with OrCAD X for schematic capture
Familiarity with Constraint Manager and DFM tools
Demonstrated knowledge of power electronics, EMI/EMC, and high-voltage design (up to 270V)
Strong grasp of multi-layer board design (8–12 layers)
US Citizenship required
v22 preferred
