Electrical Engineer

Fortify Technical Staffing is a company that collaborates with Architectural, Engineering, and Construction Firms. They are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer / Electrical Team Lead to lead their electrical engineering department and manage design efforts for building projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for building projects including: power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power in accordance with NEC codes, CA Electrical code, Title 24, and standards
• Electrical equipment calcs, selection, and layout of switchgear, transformers, electrical panels and emergency generators
• Design recommendations, decisions, planning, delegating, reviewing, and QC of work from junior staff
• Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, structural engineers, and clients
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
• Participate in project meetings and design reviews
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior electrical engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar w/ 8+ yrs experience
• REVIT, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP
• PE
