Senior AWS Cloud Security Engineer

GlobalSource IT is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security team for a high-priority cloud service project. This role requires a strong background in AWS and system administration, focusing on providing security support and implementing security controls as code.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security support for system maintenance and cloud infrastructure integration
• Deploy security controls as code (Terraform) for project-based and day-to-day operations
• Perform security gap analysis and provide recommendations for remediation
• Design and implement technical control models to support security standards
• Optimize existing product implementations and contribute to future platform roadmaps

Requirements:

• 5+ years in an enterprise IT Security Engineering role
• 3+ years of experience with AWS and Terraform
• Strong proficiency in security system lifecycles, software administration, and industry best practices
• Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, GSEC, or Security+
• Experience with Azure, HashiCorp Sentinel, or Palo Alto Prisma Cloud
• Background in deploying security configurations as code
