Remote Staff DevOps Engineer

Locked In Talent is a fast-growing technology company serving the real estate industry, and they are seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to help build and scale a reliable, secure, and efficient engineering platform. This role acts as a bridge between infrastructure and developer experience teams, enabling engineers to ship quickly and safely from development through production.

Responsibilities:

• Design and scale automated preview and ephemeral environments for development and testing
• Optimize and standardize CI/CD pipelines to improve build speed, reliability, and deployment confidence
• Implement release gating and progressive delivery strategies to ensure quality and security before production
• Improve observability, monitoring, and incident readiness across services
• Build secure integrations with external platforms and document reusable infrastructure patterns
• Develop internal tools, templates, and documentation that simplify deployment and environment management
• Track and improve engineering performance metrics such as deployment frequency and lead time

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or SRE supporting production systems
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and AWS services such as IAM, VPC, S3, SQS, Lambda, and RDS
• Expertise with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD or similar)
• Advanced CI/CD experience with tools like CircleCI, including caching, parallelization, and artifact management
• Experience with release strategies such as canary or blue/green deployments and automated rollback
• Familiarity with observability platforms such as Datadog, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineering teams to improve developer productivity
