Senior Data Engineer / $160k–$200k + Equity / 100% Remote

Halian is a leading IT management SaaS company looking to scale its core data platform. They are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale systems that process large volumes of data, focusing on data pipelines, system design, and distributed architecture in AWS.

Responsibilities:

• Built and scaled data pipelines in production environments
• Worked with event-driven or streaming systems (SQS, Kafka, or similar)
• Designed data infrastructure in AWS from the ground up
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases at scale
• Built backend services or microservices that support data movement
• Experience working in SaaS or product-focused engineering teams
• Operated within high-throughput or high-volume systems

Requirements:
