Full Stack Engineer

Sagetap is an AI-driven marketplace that connects SaaS buyers and sellers, helping tech buyers discover B2B SaaS startups. They are seeking an experienced full-stack developer to join their remote engineering team, where the role involves writing code, collaborating with partners, and advocating for best practices in software development.

Responsibilities:

• Write code in Kotlin, Typescript, React, and SQL to develop our product
• Communicate clearly with our business and product partners to better understand their requirements, and then help plan, scope, and execute upon them
• Be an advocate for best practices around testing, design, observability, etc. to maintain the long-term quality and stability of the platform
• Collaborate with, learn from, and teach others on the team about languages, tooling, techniques, etc

Requirements:

• 4+ years of software engineering or relevant experience
• Proficiency in programming with Kotlin or similar backend languages (e.g. Java, C#)
• Proficiency in programming with Typescript and React or similar frontend technologies (e.g. Javascript, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and confidence with core SQL
• Experience with git or other version control systems
• Experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services preferred)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi) is a big bonus
• Experience in building RESTful APIs
• An empathetic mindset (for our users and the rest of our team), the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively, and a willingness and desire to learn
