Quality Assurance Engineer

BrothersTech is seeking a detail-oriented QA Analyst/Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web and enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will develop, execute, and maintain test cases, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts
• Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and API applications
• Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts
• Conduct regression, functional, integration, and performance testing
• Automate test cases using tools like Selenium or Cypress
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Ensure quality standards and best practices are followed

Requirements:

• Strong experience in manual testing and QA methodologies
• Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver
• Knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Experience with API testing using Postman
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
• Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG)
• Experience with mobile testing (iOS / Android)
