About this role
Vertex Agility is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and scale cloud-native infrastructure that enables fast, reliable software delivery. This fully remote role focuses on automation, system reliability, and empowering engineering teams through strong platform foundations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable Kubernetes-based platforms
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and cloud-native tooling
- Implement observability, alerting, and reliability best practices
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment and developer experience
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform and infrastructure as code
- Experience with GitOps tools (ArgoCD) and CI/CD (GitHub Actions)
- Solid understanding of observability (Prometheus, Grafana)
- Passion for automation, scalability, and platform reliability
