Winpak Films is a Maintenance Parts Buyer (Expediter) to join their team in a full time capacity in Senoia, GA.
The Maintenance Parts Buyer / Expediter is a key contributor to operational reliability. In this role, you will ensure the timely sourcing, purchasing, tracking, and availability of MRO and critical spare parts that support our 24/7 manufacturing operations. By working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams, you will help proactively manage parts availability, reduce emergency downtime, and continuously improve our spare parts strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Purchase maintenance supplies and parts in accordance with company policies and management authorization.
- Work with Maintenance leadership to ensure competitive pricing and cost-effective purchasing.
- Expedite orders with suppliers and communicate potential delays to internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
- Manage vendor service contracts, including scheduling repairs and preventative maintenance activities (e.g., scale calibration, forklift and roll-lift PMs, IR and vibration analysis, HVAC PMs).
Inventory & Parts Management
- Manage inventory levels for maintenance materials using the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Organize and maintain spare parts inventory for the Maintenance Department.
- Maintain accurate stock identification and location information within the CMMS.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and inventory transactions.
Logistics & Coordination
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with shipping personnel to ensure the most cost-effective delivery methods.
- Work closely with Maintenance and other departments to ensure critical parts are available when needed to support operations.
Financial & System Accuracy
- Reconcile invoice discrepancies to ensure accurate charges and maintain system integrity.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of MRO purchasing or maintenance parts procurement experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Experience supporting maintenance or purchasing activities in a continuous or high-volume manufacturing environment.

- Experience using ERP systems to create and manage purchase orders, track vendor activity, and maintain inventory records.
- Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for inventory tracking, parts management, or maintenance coordination.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams for purchasing coordination, reporting, and communication.
- Experience organizing and maintaining spare parts inventory within a maintenance storeroom, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience coordinating with internal teams such as maintenance, engineering, production, or shipping to ensure parts availability.
- Ability to analyze purchasing or inventory data to support inventory accuracy and purchasing decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical industrial components commonly used in manufacturing maintenance (e.g., motors, bearings, sensors, drives, valves, fasteners).
- Proficient Microsoft Excel skills, including experience using pivot tables, formulas, or data tracking tools for purchasing or inventory analysis.
- Experience generating reports or analyzing MRO spend, usage trends, or inventory performance metrics.
- Experience maintaining CMMS data structures such as Bills of Materials (BOMs), asset hierarchies, or integrated parts lists.
- Experience supporting maintenance service contracts or coordinating preventative maintenance services with vendors.
- Experience working in a 24/7 manufacturing or production environment.
