Senior Salesforce Developer - Provider Management

They are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce applications supporting healthcare provider lifecycle management.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce solutions focused on Provider Management and Network Operations
• Build and customize applications supporting:
• Provider onboarding & credentialing
• Provider lifecycle management
• Provider network management & directories
• Contracting and relationship management
• Develop custom solutions using:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flows and automation tools
• Configure and extend Salesforce capabilities including:
• Health Cloud (for provider/patient data models where applicable)
• Custom data models for provider ecosystems
• Lead technical design discussions and provide architectural guidance
• Develop and maintain integrations with external systems:
• EHR/EMR platforms
• Provider data sources
• Third-party credentialing systems
• Work with APIs and interoperability standards such as:
• REST/SOAP
• HL7/FHIR
• Implement data migration, data governance, and data quality strategies
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulatory standards
• Perform code reviews and enforce best practices in development and DevOps
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Strong experience in Provider Management, Provider Lifecycle, or Network Management systems
• Expertise in: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows & automation
• Experience integrating Salesforce with healthcare systems (EHR/EMR, provider databases)
• Strong understanding of: Provider data models, Credentialing workflows, Healthcare compliance (HIPAA)
• Experience with APIs and integrations (REST/SOAP)
• Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, or healthcare interoperability standards
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security and data architecture
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer II, Salesforce Health Cloud Accreditation (nice-to-have), Salesforce Architect certifications (plus)
• Experience in: Healthcare payer/provider systems, Government or public sector healthcare programs
• Exposure to: AI-driven automation (e.g., Salesforce Agentforce or Einstein AI), Provider data governance and MDM solutions
• Local to Tysons Corner, VA (strongly preferred)
