Medier is a creative marketing agency that partners with clients to deliver data-driven insights and results. They are seeking a strong Analytics Engineer to lead data transformation efforts and build a reliable foundation for marketing analytics, focusing on data modeling and collaboration with growth and marketing teams.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake and BigQuery using dbt
- Translate marketing business logic (LTV, CAC, attribution, cohort analysis) into clean, optimized SQL code
- Ensure Data Quality and freshness; set up tests and documentation within dbt
- Work with a modern Modern Data Stack. We use the best tools available for transformation and storage
- Work closely with Growth Hackers and Marketers to understand their data needs
Requirements:
- Build and maintain scalable data models in Snowflake and BigQuery using dbt
- Translate marketing business logic (LTV, CAC, attribution, cohort analysis) into clean, optimized SQL code
- Ensure Data Quality and freshness; set up tests and documentation within dbt
- Work with a modern Modern Data Stack
- Write complex, readable, and efficient SQL queries
- Experience with dbt (Core or Cloud)
- Deep understanding of Snowflake or Google BigQuery architecture
- Proficiency with Git, an understanding of CI/CD, and adherence to DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) principles
- Understanding metrics (ROAS, ROMI, Retention) and how ad platforms (FB, Google Ads) operate
