They are seeking a Market Forecasting & Analytics Specialist to develop data-driven market forecasts and predictive models for a leading global healthcare organization, focusing on strategic decision-making across multiple markets.
Responsibilities:
- Develop market forecasting models based on assumptions, historical data, and external market signals
- Build short-, mid-, and long-term market forecasts for products across multiple markets
- Aggregate multi-country and multi-product data to produce consolidated market forecasts
- Develop technology adoption models (e.g., diffusion curves such as Bass models) to simulate competitive landscapes
- Design Excel-based decision-support models and forecasting tools (Excel + VBA)
- Integrate market research, CRM data, financial data, and public datasets into forecasting assumptions
- Develop machine learning forecasting models (Python preferred)
- Support scenario modelling and uncertainty analysis using statistical approaches
- Link Excel-based forecasting tools with data lake sources or data collection systems
- Support migration of Excel-based models to cloud-based analytics platforms
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate market insights into actionable forecasts and strategic recommendations
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in forecasting, market modelling, or advanced analytics
- Strong experience with market forecasting, demand forecasting, or predictive modelling
- Experience building assumption-based forecasting models
- Strong Excel modelling skills (including advanced formulas; VBA is a plus)
- Experience with Python for machine learning or statistical modelling
- Experience working with multiple datasets (market research, CRM, financial, public data)
- Strong understanding of statistical modelling and time-series forecasting techniques
- Experience working with multi-country / multi-market datasets
- Ability to translate analytical results into business insights and decision-support recommendations
- Experience with Monte Carlo simulations, Markov chains, or conjoint analysis
- Experience with technology adoption models (Bass diffusion models)
- Experience in pharma, healthcare, medtech, or consumer healthcare industries
