Applied AI Engineer

Cordial is a company focused on enhancing humanity and empathy in marketing through technology. They are seeking an experienced Applied AI Engineer to contribute to their AI capabilities, working on innovative solutions to improve customer efficiency within the Cordial platform.

Responsibilities:

• Be a primary contributor to our AI strategy, helping design and productize AI-powered solutions
• You’ll dive into massive datasets with the autonomy to choose what you work on and the ownership to turn ideas into real-world results for our clients
• Serve as an expert sounding board on approaches and techniques for integrating LLMs into production applications
• Work in partnership with product management to drive compelling AI solutions and features
• Continuously explore and implement innovative approaches using frontier AI models to solve complex business challenges

Requirements:

• 2+ years of professional experience building production applications with LLMs and AI technologies
• 5+ years experience with Python
• Track record of shipping and maintaining production services at scale
• A deep curiosity and excitement for where AI and applied AI systems are headed
• Experience building with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc), prompt engineering, and RAG architectures
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, llamaindex)
• Experience with REST API development, NoSQL database design, and RDBMS design and optimizations
• Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and defining solutions to open-ended problems
