Senior Backend Developer

Industrial Matrix is a Canadian-based technology leader dedicated to the digitization of the modern factory. They are seeking a seasoned Senior Backend Developer to architect, build, and maintain robust server-side logic and databases for their real-time industrial data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Architect & Scale: Design and implement scalable, low-latency backend services using TypeScript and Python
• Data Management: Optimize and manage relational databases (PostgreSQL) and specialized Time Series databases to handle high-velocity data
• Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, and scale services within the AWS ecosystem
• System Integration: Develop secure APIs and internal services that integrate with industrial IoT hardware and live dashboards
• Technical Leadership: Lead architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers on best practices for high-availability systems
