itD is seeking a Data Engineer IV to build and scale robust data infrastructure that powers marketing science insights and optimizes advertising performance. This role will contribute to transforming complex data into actionable intelligence, enabling more effective marketing and sales strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize real-time data pipelines from existing data sources to support marketing analytics
- Design and structure large-scale datasets for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Build and maintain data tables that support multiple marketing signals across millions of users
- Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to integrate feedback and improve data solutions
- Serve as the subject matter expert for data infrastructure within marketing science initiatives
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and minimal error rates across all pipeline processes
- Deliver data solutions quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Attend regular internal practice community meetings
- Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
- Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
- Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering or data infrastructure development
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (Python preferred)
- Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines from existing data sources
- Experience designing data structures for performance and scalability
- Ability to work with large-scale datasets (millions of rows)
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to act quickly on feedback
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience working with customer lifecycle management or CRM data
- Background in marketing data systems or advertising data pipelines
- Experience supporting large-scale, high-growth environments (e.g., big tech or enterprise platforms)
- Familiarity with building data tables used to power marketing campaigns
