Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving & Unloading:
- Safely and efficiently unload incoming trucks, trailers, and containers using various material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks).
- Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders, delivery notes, and manifests.
- Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately.
- Operate powered industrial trucks (PITs) in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all Bosch safety regulations and certifications.
- Inspection & Quality Control:
- Perform initial visual inspections of received goods for damage, defects, and proper labeling.
- Segregate and quarantine non-conforming materials according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and Procurement teams to resolve any quality issues.
- Material Handling & Put-Away:
- Accurately count, weigh, and label received materials.
- Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to record receipt data, generate labels, and track inventory.
- Transport received materials to designated storage locations or staging areas, optimizing space utilization.
- Ensure proper storage practices are followed to prevent damage and ensure accessibility.
- Documentation & Data Entry:
- Complete all necessary receiving paperwork and digital entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized records of received goods, including delivery notes, packing lists, and inspection reports.
- Generate reports as required for inventory management and supply chain analysis.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Adhere strictly to all Bosch safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Conduct daily equipment checks and report any malfunctions or safety hazards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the receiving dock and surrounding areas.
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Teamwork & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments (e.g., Production, Quality, Inventory Control, Shipping).
- Communicate clearly and concisely with truck drivers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed to support overall operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or receiving role, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and/or other material handling equipment.
- Valid certification for powered industrial trucks (PITs) or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with data entry and navigating warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commitment to safety.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $19.8720 - $23.6601 per hour. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
