A Code Enforcement Specialist plays an active role in achieving long-term customer satisfaction in the context of Community Association relationships. Specific responsibilities will vary with designated communities and may include, but are not limited to: Inspecting properties for maintenance, landscaping, safety, and compliance issues and accurately recording findings.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Meet and greet homeowners. Build relationships with homeowners and members of the Board of Directors.
- Walk and inspect community to ensure homeowners are following HOA rules and regulations.
- Walk and inspect community to ensure maintenance concerns and repairs are being addressed.
- Take notes, pictures, and document of findings.
- Complete and submit reports to the General Manager and Board President.
- Enter and update work orders for maintenance team.
- Contact and schedule maintenance vendors onsite for repairs.
- Attend board meetings to update homeowners and the board of Code and Compliance issues.
- Respond to and investigate allegations of violations of codes to determine validity of complaints and the appropriate course of action to mitigate issues.
- Investigate and enforce property codes within boundaries.
- Schedule and perform systematic property maintenance inspections to maintain or achieve minimum property standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Payrate: $25-$32 an hour.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Required.
- 1+ years of administrative, clerical, and customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills, written and spoken.
- Customer service driven, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, proactive, detail oriented and a team player.
