
The Atlanta District Planning Office is looking for a Planner I, II, or III based in Atlanta, TX. In this position, you will lead efforts to plan, coordinate, schedule and conduct public involvement activities and outreach; organize activities and materials for presentation at public meetings and hearings; as well as prepare and update tabloid summaries and web-based information for the District's larger projects.
The District Planning Office is composed of subject matter experts in areas critical to project delivery including consultant contract administration and management. Planner II/ B20/ $51,158.00 - $81,351.00 annually
Planner III/ B22/ $57,614 - $93,138.00 annually

Represents the Department at local, state, and federal levels
Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, engineering, business admin or related field. Relevant work experience may be substituted for degree on a year per year basis. Substitutions for Minimum Qualifications
Planner I: 1 year planning or research analysis experience.
Planner II: 2 years planning or research analysis experience.
Planner III: 3 years planning, research, or legislative analysis-related activities
(Experience can be satisfied by full time or prorated part time equivalent). Related graduate level education may be substituted for experience on a year per year basis.
Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a state vehicle.
