Hertz is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy, performance, and growth of their Digital Add-Ons business. This role is responsible for full P&L ownership, long-term product strategy, and day-to-day performance management for digital add-ons, partnering closely with various teams to drive revenue and customer experience improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Own the P&L for Digital Add-Ons across digital and counter channels, including revenue, margin, attach rate, and customer outcomes
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for digital add-ons, including pricing, bundling, offer structure, and new product opportunities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for performance updates, answering 'what is happening, why, and what we should do next.'
- Provide clear, concise, and data-driven communication to senior leadership, including weekly business updates and strategic recommendations
- Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, and Field teams to drive initiatives that improve revenue and customer value
- Lead deep-dive analyses to understand business drivers and identify opportunities to optimize attach rate, conversion, margin, and customer satisfaction
- Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPIs, and mechanisms to track business performance
- Drive execution of new product features, pricing changes, and operational improvements with a strong bias for action
- Ensure alignment across stakeholders and provide leadership on high-priority initiatives and performance escalations
Requirements:
- 6–10+ years of product management experience with demonstrated ownership of revenue-driving products or P&L components
- Proven ability to operate at a Staff PM level—setting strategy, influencing across organizations, and communicating effectively with executives
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Finance, Engineering, Data Science, and Operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify root causes, and develop actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create high-quality executive narratives and present complex issues clearly
- Demonstrated bias for action, ability to manage ambiguity, and willingness to take ownership of business outcomes
- Experience in travel, mobility, e-commerce, insurance, or other consumer-facing industries preferred
