The Senior IT Project Manager will oversee IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget while coordinating cross-functional teams and maintaining stakeholder communication.
Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with defined business objectives
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, resource allocations, and deliverables
- Establish clear project scope, milestones, and success criteria
- Maintain accountability for overall project performance and outcomes
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within a dynamic services environment
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects
- Facilitate kickoff meetings, executive updates, and status communications
- Ensure alignment between internal teams and client expectations
- Proactively address concerns, risks, and evolving priorities
- Identify risks, dependencies, and constraints early in the project lifecycle
- Implement mitigation strategies and escalate issues when appropriate
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting standards
- Monitor project budgets, resource utilization, and financial performance
- Support accurate forecasting and milestone-based billing
- Drive operational efficiency within the Project Services function
- Coordinate internal resources to ensure seamless project execution
- Engage strategic partners and vendors as needed to support delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and standards
- Communicates effectively with technical teams, operational leadership, and executive stakeholders
- Translates complex technical initiatives into clear business outcomes for clients
- Provides structured project reporting including risks, milestones, and progress updates
- Facilitates alignment across internal delivery teams and client leadership
Requirements:
- 7+ years of project management experience within an IT services-based environment
- Managed services and technology deployment
- ConnectWise/Mange experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of structured project management methodologies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools
- PMP, CAPM, or equivalent certification
- Experience working in regulated or client-driven industries
