Project Engineer, SCADA and Controls Systems

Terabase Energy is focused on engineering design and execution activities for SCADA, network, and controls on utility scale PV and Battery Storage power plants. The Project Engineer will lead a team in analyzing customer requirements and developing high-complexity systems while managing project milestones and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and/or self-perform the execution of engineering activities
• Work with Engineering Manager and Project Managers to manage internal and external capacity to meet project milestones
• Requests and evaluates engineering services proposals
• Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects
• Manage and control the generation, issuance, resolution, and close-out of requests for information, technical inquiry forms, and transmittals/submittals
• Participate in preparing proposals and scope development, including conceptual designs and execution plans, engineering/project cost estimates, and schedules
• Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office
• Provide leadership, training, and mentoring to less experienced engineers and team members
• Provide short-term field support during construction
• Any other actions required by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other technical degree
• Three years minimum of engineering experience performing development of solar projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Project management experience is a plus
