MRO is seeking an AI Engineering Intern who will work on a team of AI engineers building tools and systems that operate on complex healthcare data. The intern will contribute to AI/ML projects, assist with model experimentation, and collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to AI/ML projects on complex clinical data workflows
- Assist with model experimentation, evaluation, and analysis
- Collaborate with AI engineers, product partners, business stakeholders, and clinical team members to clarify requirements and deliver incremental improvements
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices (testing, documentation, version control)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree program (in progress or completed)
- Have taken an AI/ML class
- Basic understanding of machine learning concepts (training, validation, evaluation metrics)
- Exposure to LLMs
- Experience with Git or another version control system
- Strong problem-solving skills and curiosity
