Worthland Consulting Inc. is hiring a Sales Account Manager to lead transformer sales across North America, primarily focusing on the U.S. market. The role involves developing long-term customer relationships, executing sales strategies, and managing existing accounts while driving new business development.
Responsibilities:
- Own and execute North American sales strategy for transformer products (U.S. & Canada)
- Drive new business development while managing and expanding existing customer accounts
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored technical and commercial solutions to increase repeat business
- Travel frequently within the U.S. for customer visits, trade shows, and project discussions
- Collect and analyze market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, supply chain) to ensure order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
- Prepare and maintain sales documentation, reports, and forecasts
- Support additional commercial initiatives as assigned by leadership
Requirements:
- 3–5+ years of B2B sales experience in transformers, power equipment, or industrial/electrical equipment
- Solid understanding of the North American energy and power infrastructure market
- Strong account management, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills
- Results-driven, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a remote setup
- Willing and able to travel frequently across the U.S. (and Canada when required)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada (visa or permanent status)
- Prior work experience at Huawei, TCL, or similar large-scale industrial / power equipment companies
- Existing relationships with utilities, EPCs, or industrial customers in North America
- Experience selling technically complex, high-value equipment with long sales cycles
