Medikop LifeScience is seeking a Vice President of Product Management to formulate and execute the overall product strategy. This role involves leading the product management team and driving the entire product lifecycle, ensuring continuous product innovation and alignment with business growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate the company's medium-to-long-term product strategy and Product Roadmap
- Define product direction based on market trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis
- Drive the optimization of the product portfolio to maximize business value
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept, design, and development through to market launch and iterative optimization
- Establish standardized product management systems and processes (e.g., Stage-Gate or Agile methodologies)
- Ensure products are delivered on time, to a high standard of quality, and in alignment with market demands
- Build and lead a high-performance product management team (including Product Managers, Product Owners, etc.)
- Establish talent development frameworks to enhance the team's professional expertise and innovative capabilities
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across departments (R&D, Design, Marketing, Sales, etc.)
- Develop deep insights into customer needs and User Experience (UX) to drive continuous product improvement
- Analyze industry trends and the competitive landscape to formulate differentiated product strategies
- Engage in key customer communications and provide support for major strategic projects
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to drive the successful commercialization and market adoption of products
- Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as product revenue, profitability, and market share
- Drive product decision-making through data analysis (e.g., Conversion Rate, Retention Rate, LTV, etc.)
- Drive new product innovation and explore new business models (e.g., platform-based and ecosystem-based approaches)
- Leverage data, AI, and digital tools to enhance product competitiveness
- Introduce advanced product management methodologies (e.g., OKRs, Lean Product Development, etc.)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher; majors in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields are preferred
- 20+ years of experience in product management; 5+ years of experience in team management
- Proven track record of success in building products from scratch ('0-to-1') or scaling products
- Exceptional product strategic thinking and business acumen
- Outstanding leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Strong data analysis and user insight capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and decision-making skills
- MBA or relevant advanced management training is preferred
- Experience across different industries or in international environments is preferred
